Tags are aluminium and waterproof, so rain, snow and the odd swim are no problem.
No batteries
There's nothing to charge. Any phone camera can read the code.
The code never needs changing
The QR code opens your pet's page, which always shows your latest details. Change your phone number or your pet's photo and the same tag shows the update. You don't need a new tag for that.
If it stops scanning
